The email also includes a product image and highlights the benefits of the product. The free shipping incentive encourages the reader to complete the purchase.

We shoppers don’t go to Bloomingdale ’s , but are aware that they are known for their large brown bags. This example does a great job reinforcing the brand and then speaking to the customer in their language using the phrase “my brown bag.”

Here we have another example of complements. Mark Weldon applies it a little thicker ; it combines urgency and scarcity to get the job done. We like how the CTA stands out from the otherwise neutral tones.
